Having grown up watching rugby in New Zealand, this was such a cool project to work on. Celebrating many of the powerhouses of the game and their Pacifica roots was a real privilege.
The Piha Invitational Ironman is an incredible showcase of NZ’s top surf athletes battling it out in the wild waters of Auckland’s west coast.
The event includes; Swim, Board, Ski, culminating with the Ironman/woman event with all three disciplines back to back.
Not gonna lie, this one was awesome. Seeing a super dedicated group of individuals ready to go to war - Airsoft style. This incredible opportunity came through our sister brand, Epic Content, and was such a blast to shoot. Pun very much intended.
